Clear view of availability, full time and vacation in the online agenda
Sara Meert
Make the differences in the online agenda immediately recognisable so that customers can clearly see the difference between:
- Available
- Almost full
- Fully booked
- Vacation/Salon closed
- Best choice
As a result, customers understand when an appointment is still possible, when a waiting list is available, when another employee is available and when the salon is completely closed.
-> Vacation days cannot use the same color as “Fully booked”. This must have its own, clearly distinguishable label/color.
Reason:
Vacation means that the salon is closed. Fully booked means that appointments are full, but customers may:
- can be placed on a waiting list
- be able to choose another team member.

Absence/Vacation clearly visible on the online agenda

When a leave is scheduled, show it on the online agenda with a separate status/color (e.g. gray) instead of red = full.
Why:
If leave means that the entire salon is closed, while full means that customers may be able to join a waiting list or choose another employee.

Hello, during the vacation period, we can show online that we are on leave or the absence of 1 colleague, not just full.

If you use vacation/absence, this now shows as red (full) on the online agenda
but wouldn't this be able to get its own color, e.g. yellow
or if not possible, grey = closed

The online booking shows whether there are available seats, if it is busy or full but not whether the hair salon is closed when I am on leave. I would have liked to see this in the online booking. Because even though it's so to say full when the hair salon is closed, customers keep calling for a seat. Should the leave icon indicate that the hair salon is closed, they will call fewer to get an appointment.

Switch off the phone 😊. Since we've been working with optios, we've put the phone away. Communication via the contact form and customers have no issue with us being on leave. More than 5 years of options now and no one sees that we don't have a phone anymore
