It would be nice if customers could join a waiting list somewhere.
The customer sees that his/her chosen moment is already taken. Customer books another appointment. But join a waiting list; if someone cancels, the customer will be notified.
Since places are now often vacant at short notice (corona), these places can then be filled quickly and customers do not have to wait that long.

This is now possible.
As a salon, you can put your customers on a waiting list, but your customers can also put themselves on the waiting list via the online booking.
They will be notified when a seat becomes available on their chosen date.

This would be really useful, I very often ask for a waiting list: although there is simply a possibility that the customer can join the waiting list himself on a day of their choice, and that it will not necessarily be assigned automatically, but that you can possibly see who has joined that waiting list per day. So you can easily call the customer. Now this is far too cumbersome to fill it all out yourself; with a new customer, you even have to create a customer first. And it's really not clear who is on the waiting list where.

Indeed. All customers on the waiting list will then be notified of a vacant spot on their chosen days. Whoever books the appointment first has the seat and disappears from the waiting list.
